Why agents turn to agent@home
I was owner of a travel agency since the 1980s, when it closed in March 2022, I immediately transitioned to being an independent agent with Transat Travel agent@home program, TDC. Since then, this change has transformed my life for three main reasons:
1. Financially: The high costs associated with running a physical agency use to consume most of my income. As an agent@home with Transat Travel, TDC, my expenses have been minimized, allowing me to achieve the highest income of my career over the past two years.
2. Management/Support: I no longer have to deal with complex reporting or hire an accountant for year-end. The agent@home program provides full support for invoicing, booking systems, technical advice, and strong connections with suppliers, which has made my work much simpler. Additionally, I’ve joined a network of virtual colleagues and have constant access to valuable resources.

First, from my very first days in the program, I was impressed by how comprehensive and relevant the training is. Additionally, the ongoing training is very present and up to date. TDC Campus training for the agent@home program allows me to excel every season by acquiring new knowledge.
Next, being part of such a large network of agents across the country, TDC gives us access to an immense wealth of expertise and the support of experienced individuals. Collaboration is strong among agents through our communication networks. Moreover, access to multiple familiarization trips (many of which are specifically designed for us) allows everyone to share their experiences, insights, feedback, and even a few photos with other agents. This large network gives me a golden opportunity to connect and better understand my products.
